  1. Desk+Plus has many features, such as drag-and-drop, to make working with files
  2. simple.  I recommend opening two windows and placing them side by side.  This
  3. way you can drag and drop files between the windows.  You can drag files from 
  4. one window onto another window, dropping them on top of a directory.  This 
  5. will copy the files into that directory.  Or you can drop files onto a blank 
  6. area of the window to copy them into that windows current directory.  To copy
  7. files to a 3.5 inch disk, drag and drop them ontop of the 3.5 inch disk icon.

  9. If you want to zip up files, make sure that the window containing those files
  10. is the top window.  You can do this by clicking on the windows move bar 
  11. located along the top of the window.

  13. The QuickRun menu and the Program Manager can be very handy if you learn how 
  14. to use them properly.  For example, you can have a group called UTILITIES.  
  15. Within this group you may have a word processor, spreadsheet, calculater, etc.  
  16. If you click on the word processor, you can have QuickRun or the Program 
  17. Manager set to pop up a Browse File box.  Now you can choose a file to load up 
  18. with your word processor.  Be sure to learn how to use this feature, it can 
  19. become a powerful tool.
